Being a parent means facing daily challenges, big and small… One of the most common struggles in my life right now? Getting my kids to do something they don’t want to do- whether it’s going to school, cleaning up, or trying something new. Over time, I’ve discovered a simple but effective approach: comfort first, then distract.
As a friend, it’s hard to know what to say or do, because we can’t heal that pain. But, what I do know, is no one should feel like they are alone in it. While I can’t take away the pain, I can stand beside you, hold your hand, pray with you and remind you that you are loved.
